Flamenco guitars

The flamenco guitars from the Genís Prat workshop are designed to offer immediate response, lightness and character . They are living instruments, with a bright and percussive sound, built to accompany the rhythm, expression and intensity of flamenco. Each guitar is hand-crafted, seeking a balance between tradition and comfort, so that the guitarist can express himself with freedom and precision.

Model 53 Flamenco

The 53 Flamenco is a lightweight guitar with a fast response and a clear, bright tone. It is designed for the flamenco guitarist who needs speed of response, agility and a clean, percussive voice , without sacrificing the quality of artisanal construction.

Top: solid cedar or fir.
Sides and back: solid cypress (characteristic of the flamenco sound).
Fingerboard: ebony.
Neck: Honduras cedar.
Finish: polyurethane.

Lively attack sound, with a bright timbre and clear definition, ideal for falsettos and flamenco rhythms

Model 60 Flamenco

The 60 Flamenco offers a step forward in projection and power compared to the 53. It retains the lightness and agility of flamenco, but provides more sonic body and a more defined attack , making it suitable for intense palos and live music, while maintaining a rich and expressive sound.

Top: solid cedar or fir.
Sides and back: solid cypress.
Fingerboard: ebony.
Neck: Honduras cedar.
Finish: polyurethane.

Balanced instrument with a bright, forceful sound and immediate response for demanding flamenco repertoires.

Custom configurations and options

In the workshop we offer the possibility of adapting each guitar according to the musician’s needs.
Some of the options that can be evaluated are:

Wood selection
Possibility of choosing different woods for the lid, rims and bottom, depending on availability and model.
Shooting and measurements
Adaptation of the string and other measurements to adjust the guitar to the guitarist’s comfort: 650 mm (standard), 640 and 630 mm.
Neck and action adjustments
Custom configuration of the neck and string height according to playing style.
Finishes
Option to choose finishes such as shellac or other varnishes.

Cutaway
Possibility of incorporating cutaway in certain models to facilitate access to the high frets.
Amplification
Integration of amplification systems for live or recording.
Comfort and touch style
Adjustments specifically designed to adapt the instrument to the playing style of each musician.
Special models
Development of special guitars or specific adaptations at the customer’s request.
